Basement: Day 14!
The ceiling is in the house.
Ahh yes, a panel lift is your friend, $30 is well worth it! That and my roommate helped today so we had 3 men on screw drivers too..
Giant hole of the 8 inch in ceiling speaker, behind it you can see the speaker wire. These things have movable tweeters for accurate sound placement, very exciting.
Air ducts for heating and AC stuffed with insulation for now because we exhausted the drywall dust through a basement window.
Bob Vila himself has got nothing on these cuts for the can lights. ;-)

Other closet, screen side. Note the gap for 1/2 drywall to fit beside the ceiling, then we are adding another layer of 1/2 for sound that meets the edge of the ceiling.
